There is a thread on MBworld, where several guys worked to create a home made tool, to bleed the air of a liquid intercooler of a supercharged Mercedes engine. The issue of properly bleeding intercooler systems in Mercedes is not new. Then there is a buffer thank that is non collapsible under vacuum. Then the procedure takes step two, using a vacuum pump to pump out of the system the old coolant. This costs over $100 but could be improvised at home.
